Ginsite Materials, Modular Homes form venture

New York, Sept 24: Ginsite Materials Inc, to be renamed Environmental Construction Products International, has entered into a joint venture agreement with Modular Homes Ltd, a division of the Jain Group of Jalgoan, to construct 12,000 homes in Jalgoan, Maharashtra.

The Jain Group is a consortium of publicly held companies with total annual sales over $1 billion and offices worldwide. Over the past 30 years, the Jain Group has been a significant player in the agriculture, irrigation, chemicals, plastics, construction, and information technology industries. The joint venture company called, `ECPI (India) Ltd,' has been awarded the contract for the construction of 12,000 homes using its unique Econ Panel System technology.

The contract's value is estimated at $20,000,000 and the company estimates a 7.5 per cent profit margin. Payment on the contract is guaranteed by Housing and Urban Development Corporation.
