Pune, Sept 20: The Rs 600-crore auto-component company Bharat Forge is eyeing some European and US companies for acquisition in its bid to expand business outside the country.
Bharat Forge (BFL), a Kalyani group company, was exploring possibilities to acquire not only forging companies but also other auto-part firms abroad as exporting the components from India was quite an expensive affair, Kalyani group chairman Baba N Kalyani said.
BFL, the number one forging company in India, was initially targeting to acquire at least one company each in Europe and US, Kalyani said.
