Crazee about Stic

Stic has introduced its new range of Hi Fi and Retra ballpens under the Stic Star Quest and Crazee about Cricket series. The pens have photographs of famous film stars and cricketers imprinted on them. The range has been launched under license from First Serve Entertainment India, a Vijay Amritraj company in Chennai and US-based company Upper Deck LLC. Ideal as low-cost gifts and birthday presents, the set consists of one hi-fi and one retra ball pen and is priced at Rs 20.

McDonald's morning cuppa

McDonald's Family Restaurants has introduced a special Coffee Hour at its nine outlets in Delhi. Till 11.30 am on every weekday, McDonald's will serve piping hot tea and coffee for Rs 7. Targeted at office-goers looking for a quick bite and senior citizens who wish to get together for a quiet morning chat, the outlets also offer breakfast options like special combos of tea/coffee and a salad sandwich with cheese for Rs 30 or an apple/pineapple pie for Rs 33.

In millenniummode

The new millennium version of Moet Hennessy's Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge with a sash initialled `Celebration 2000' offers an image of tradition combined with modernity and refinement. The liquor is available at all leading 5 Star hotels, bars and restaurants with import licenses and duty free shops run by ITDC. With its unique taste (orange and cognac) it can be savoured neat or in a long drink or cocktail.

Samsung launches new washing machine

Samsung India has added a new front loading model to its range of washing machines. The SWF-P10 is a 6 kg fully automatic machine with one touch operation, priced at Rs 29,890. Based on `Fuzzy Logic Control', the machine senses the actual weight of the load and water temperature and its microcomputer automatically decides the appropriate water level, washing time and process. Some of its advanced, consumer friendly features include: back-up memory, informative digital display, variable spin speeds and jog dial.
