Can we find a purpose for our existence with innumerable problems staring at us from all sides? Chartered Accountant Virendra Mittal, senior executive Pradeep Pande and NLP trainer Venkat F Iyer found a new meaning to life when they came across LIFE (Living In Freedom an Enquiry), a unique self-development progamme.LIFE has made Mittal more aware, open and understanding; Venkat more aware of the spiritual aspects of day-to-day life, and helped Pande get a more balanced view of life itself. The programme may provide you with tools to make your own life a celebration.
LIFE is a unique transformation programme conceived by Swami Sukhabodhananda, disciple of Swami Chinmayananda. It is aimed at developing the full potential of an individual by removing his fears, anxieties, and inhibitions by equipping him to face the world with confidence.
The programme is based on spiritual inputs from the East and West. It sows the wisdom of physical, mental and spiritual diet to create an enlightened human being. LIFEdraws insights from Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sufism, Zen, Taoism, Christianity and amalgamates them with sports psychology and modern therapies like NLP through techniques like mirroring, pacing, focussing, etc. The modalities adapted are interactive group dynamics, games and meditation.
Participants in the programme are taught how to handle various situations. Even the most inhibited person undergoes a noticeable transformation after participating in the programme.
The Tata Electric Co, NOCIL, Parry, RCF, EIL, IPCL, Herdillia, Bharat Petroleum, Canara Bank, State Bank of Mysore, Goodlass Nerolac, BPCL, BHEL, Taj Group, Bombay Dyeing, Reliance, Hindustan Organic, Alkyl Amines, Siemens, S M Dyechem, etc, have participated in programmes conducted by Swamiji.
Swamiji mixes profound teachings with humour and uses everyday situations like facing a nagging wife or an impossible-to-please boss in his programme. One of the major points he stresses is to accept any situation in life with happiness. One canaccept it either with bitterness or happiness. If one accepts it with happiness, one is the master of situation but if one feels bitter about it, he becomes a victim. What is needed is creation of an inner space to accept bitterness with happiness.
LIFE makes us an inner and outer winner. For being an outer winner, the tools employed are the art of powerful goal setting, diet management, effective communication, confidence-building, decision-making, team building, divine principles of worldly achievement, interpersonal skills and tackling difficult people.
To be an inner winner, the tools employed are the art of being blissful, restful and loving, the art of healing psychological wounds, mind management, worry management, fear management, the art of dealing with diffidence, frustration and hurt, and meditation to bring about healthy inner healing and enlightenment.
The programme concentrates on creating an enlightened balance between four zones -- the intimate, family, work and spiritual -- to createtotal harmony.Swamiji comes from a rich business family in Bangalore. He studied at the Baldwin Boys High School and St Joseph Commerce College before taking to meditation. He was a disciple of Swami Chinmayanda before setting out on his own. He has also designed `Harmony & Creativity at Work' for senior management executives to bring about a balance between production and the potential of an individual. According to him, disharmony creeps into an organisation due to personality clashes and differing perceptions. He is attempting to reconcile two conflicting objectives of an executive-winning the rat race and being at peace within.
Swamiji spreads the message of realising one's full potential, a kind of spiritual awakening to help cope more satisfactorily with the stresses of modern corporate life. The programme to promote harmony and creativity in your work zone stimulates commitment to ones harmony and happiness and introduces a unique element of celebration and rejoicing. It brings a change inperspective and a favourable change in ones work culture.
