Mumbai, Sept 3: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has suspended Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) member Bhupendra Talakchand Mehta till he pays the registration/turnover fees along with the accrued interest thereon to the market regulator.The suspension of the broker, conducting business under the name of M/S Bhupendra Talakchand & Co, will come into effect from September 6 next.
Sebi, in a statement on Friday said the broker will not be entitled to carry on the business as a stock broker till the prescribed fees and accrued interest thereon are paid.
