The Rs 2.5-crore company hopes to float an initial public offer of Rs 5 crore of Rs 10 shares to fund its expansion plans. The company, which already has a 12,000 sq. ft. software development facility in MEPZ (Madras Export Processing Zone), hopes to open another development unit in Chennai and increase the number of its training franchises. Currently, the company has about 36 franchisees all over India which is expected to go up to 100 by 2003. Also, the company had recently inked a pact with Quest Technologies of the US to develop CBT kits for export purposes. It also has plans to get into web-based training and e-commerce soon.

The issue is mainly to finance all these expansion plans, said Hiru Bijlani, president, Zenith Global Consultants. Zenith is also an alliance partner of the US-based LeadershipManagement International (LMI) to offer management training using techniques such as multi-sensor impact, spaced repetition and retention techniques.The company also plans to offer a few IT-enabled management solutions. The firm's foray into software development is a part of this game-plan, Bijlani said.
