New Delhi, Aug 24: HCL Infosystems has recorded a 124 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 58.52 crore during 1998-99 compared to Rs 26.12 crore the previous year.Sales/income of the company stood at Rs 950 crore during the year ended June 30, up 36 per cent against Rs 699 crore last year. HCL Infosys board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share.
According to a company statement here on Tuesday, it will be fully Y2K compliant by October 31 this year.
The company is implementing an enterprise resource planning package at a cost of Rs 500 crore from SAP AG which would also make the company's systems Y2K compliant.
