Pune, Aug 22: CG-CoreEl Logic Systems, a communications and networking company, has reorganised its business to focus on design and development of Silicon intellectual property.Two separate companies have been set up to focus on developing intellectual property while the third company, which is into distribution of Xilinx and PMC Sierra products, is being sold to Memec (Asia Pacific), a leading global semiconductor distribution company.
CG-CorEl Logic is a joint venture between Crompton Greaves and CoreEl MicroSystems Inc, US and is promoted by former Intel designer Chetan Sanghvi.
The company is a leading developer of family networking and telecommunication corecells for ATM, ethernet, sonet and TDM networking markets.
