The Union government may consider a recast of the Indian Bank board even as closure or merger of the Chennai-based public sector bank have been ruled out.

Eicher Motors chalks out strategy to boost exports
Light commercial vehicle maker Eicher Motors Ltd has chalked up an aggressive programme to boost exports, involving consolidation of existing markets and targeting newer ones. Also in the offing is stepping up of global sourcing efforts from South Asian countries to reduce costs, said company officials.

BHEL bags Rs 2 cr deal
State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged a contract worth over Rs two crore from Swiss multinational Adtranz for supply of traction motors.
