First basic provider to accept revenue share 

 
Shyam Telelink Ltd has become the the first private basic service provider to accept DoT's revenue-sharing package. The company described the package as a forward-looking step by the government and hoped that it would be implemented uniformly for all operators.

Chairman, Shyam Telecom, Rajiv Mehrotra said, "we have conveyed acceptance as this decision of the government has taken into account the difficulties of operators".

Shyam Telecom has the licence for the Rajasthan circle.
