Thakral is F&B manager of Parkroyal, New Delhi

Parkroyal New Delhi is appointing Jagdeep Thakral as the new F&B manager. Thakral brings with several years of experience in F&B operations.Earlier in his capacity as deputy to F&B manager, Maurya Sheraton Delhi, Thakral had organised several major events for his company. He has done exceedingly well in improving service designs and correcting systems failures.

Parkroyal New Delhi is part of the SPHC Group's Parkroyal collection of hotels and resorts, developed in collaboration with Nehru Place Hotels Ltd and Eros group Enterprise.

SPHC Group is one of Asia-Pacific's largest hotel group with 68 hotels and some 12,326 rooms across ten countries with further five under development.

J Legere heads Dell in Europe, W Asia and Africa

Dell Computer Corporation, the world's leading direct computer systems company, has appointed John J Legere, president of Dell's Asia-Pacific region, as president of Dell Europe, the Middle-East and Africa aswell.Since joining Dell in 1998, Legere has led Dell's direct operations and expansive distribution network across Asia Pacific, serving customers in 49 countries. In addition, he is responsible for Dell's two manufacturing facilities in the region: the Asia Pacific Customer Centre in Penang, Malaysia, and the China Customer Centre in Xiamem, China.

Legere is instrumental in accelerating Dell's growth in the Asia Pacific region, where the company's operations have grown seven times faster than the industry rate.

Prior to joining Dell, Legere was an 18-year veteran of AT&T where his experience included executive management of the company's worldwide outsourcing practice.
