"The 50th founding anniversary of new China will demonstrate to the world the Chinese military forces tremendous achievements in the revolution, modernisation and the nations stability, and display the new outlook of the powerful, civilised and triumphant forces of the PLA", Jiang, also commander-in-chief of the PLA was quoted today by state media as saying while reviewing a full-dress parade in suburban Beijing on Friday.

The October event is slated to be one of the significant political event in the communist nation this year. After a gap of 14 years, the PLA would stage a parade along with a demonstration of china's strategic missile force.

Jiang, also general secretary of the ruling communist party of China, in a veiled warning to rebel province Taiwan, said that the military reviewon October will also manifest the PLA's firm determination and powerful force in safeguarding the motherlands security and reunification.
