NIIT programme for school kidsNIIT has launched a series of internet-friendly LEDA CyberSmart programmes for school children. These are designed to provide a rich learning experience for children using the internet while building awareness and insights into fundamentals of school subjects. The programmes are fun-filled and specially designed for kindergarten to class VI. The courses will train children in school curriculum related topics and most importantly build extra-curricular knowledge with the help of internet.
Bharti telenet telephone offer
Bharti Telenet will offer a new telephone connection in Madhya Pradesh with a registration fee of Rs 1,500 with STD facility in Indore, Dewas, Pitampur, Bhopal, Mandideep, Gwalior and Malanpur. The tariff plan offers a 15 per cent discount on all STD calls within the state and 5-15 per cent discount on the total usage amount. Company MD Rajan Bharti Mittal said, "in combination with an attractive, consumer friendly tariff plan, the reduction inthe registration fee will fuel market expansion and underline the vision of the new telecom policy."
Alcatel Hotline service
Alcatel PCD has launched a Hotline service in New Delhi for cellular subscribers using Alcatel handsets. The Hotline number 6280506 will be operational from 9 am to 6 pm seven days a week. The service can be used to access a range of information and assistance for rectifying minor problems of the handset. Customers will also be able to place orders for handset accessories.
