Exim Bank loans under TUFS soon

Exim Bank of India will commence providing loans under the technology upgradation fund scheme (TUFS) for the textile industry announced by the union government shortly. Exim Bank's loans under TUFS will be for textile industry, SSI units in textile sector and jute sector. "Exim Bank will appraise and sanction loans under TUFS and work with nodal agencies nominated by the government like Industrial Development Bank of India, Small Industries Development Bank of India and Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) in order to pass on the benefit of interest reimbursement to its customers availing loans under TUFS from Exim Bank," said a bank release issued recently.
