The new systems, Unix and HP visualise workstations, are targeted at the growing segment of technical and creative customers who require value-added model with most advanced graphics technologies, a company release said here on Friday.

The Unix systems are powered by its award wining PA-8500 risc processor and the HP visualize personal workstations are a new family of high-performance Windows-NT based system featuring Intel's new Pentium III and Pentium III Xeon processors, it said.

HP operates in India through its fully-owned subsidiary and claims to top among other vendors in this segment as per a recent International Data Corporation survey which says HP has gained 30 per cent of the market share.
