Thomson's 5-disc VCD/CD player

Thomson Consumer Electronics India Ltd has launched a 5 disc VCD/CD player with two video games - Tetris and Pacman. According to the company, this advanced product combines stylish design, convenience of use and is affordable at Rs 14,990. Its special features include a 5 disc carousel changer with a 3 beam laser pick-up servo system, full function infra red remote control, 3 variable speeds, slow motion/zoom function and full function dual karaoke with digital key control.

Perry Ellis perfumes launched

After bringing in a host of international perfume brands, Tina Traditions is back with another offering - 360 degree by Perry Ellis for both men and women. The design and packaging of both the fragrances is classic, yet modern: A spherical carton highlighted with crisp white accents while the bottle is a tall, clear glass cylinder topped with a circular transparent cap.

The ladies EDT is priced at Rs 2,485 (100ml) and Rs 1,810 (50ml) while the men'sfragrance is priced Rs 2,036 and Rs 1,448 respectively.

Memory booster

Here is an Ayurvedic product which is supposed to relax the brain and mind, increase memory power and keep the mind cool. Ultra Memoryfast is a combination of Brahmi, Vacha, Amla and Shankpushpi and is available in a pack of 30 capsules priced at Rs 165.

Mantra start-up kits

Mantra Online, the Internet service launched by Bharti BT Internet Ltd in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, has launched pre-packaged convenient internet connections through Mantra start-up kits. The internet starter kit includes Mantra freedom, Mantra ease and Mantra surf-by-nite packages. Mantra freedom starts from an hourly denomination ranging from 25 hours at Rs 990 to 500 hours at Rs 8,990. Mantra ease allows customers to pay a flat fee for a specific number of hours per month.

Mantra surf-by-nite package starts at night from 10 pm to 6 pm at Rs 2,390 for 150 hours to Rs 300 hours.

Kinetic model for collegiates

The Pune-based KineticMotor Company Ltd's Kinetic Campus Chill with its trendy stickers and vibrant colours is being made available in July close to college opening time. Powered with a 5 port, 7.7 BHP Honda designed engine of Kinetic Scooters, the scooter allows the young users to do a sleek overtake on the roads. Its other features: auto start and auto gears. The launch will be supported by a new TVC and press campaign.

Premium sanitaryware from Parryware

The house of Parryware has introduced a new collection of premium sanitaryware in three super luxury ranges. Each consists of a closet and cistern set, a wash basin with a pedestal, a bidet and the option of a counter wash basin, all in matching colours.

The products, made from imported clay and Plaster of Paris, are available in three colours - Andromeda, Atlantis and Athena. Available in a choice of six natural tints, the collections will initially be marketed only in the four metros at prices starting from Rs 17,500.
