Disney, Barbie books from Express Egmont

Indian Express Egmont Publications Ltd, a joint venture between Egmont International Holdings AS, Denmark, and Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay), now brings the magic of Disney and Barbie storybooks to India. The company was set up in September 1997, to provide quality entertainment and fun-filled learning, through comic books and storybooks, to children of all ages. It has already introduced Mickey Mouse, Junior Disney, Barbie and Adventures of Donald Duck comic books in various languages.

The Disney Mini (small format) and Maxi (bigger format) series are targeted at children in the age group 5-12 years. Mini books, priced at Rs 15, are also available in exquisite gift packs. The Barbie Mini series gift pack (set of 4 books) is priced at Rs 60 and the Disney Mini series gift pack (set of 8 books) is priced at Rs 120. The Disney Maxi books are priced at Rs 30 per copy for the softcover and Rs 50 for the hardcover. The Disney Maxi softcover gift pack(set of 4 books) cost Rs 120 and the Disney hardcover gift pack (set of 4 books) is priced at Rs 200.

These books are available at all leading bookshops and toyshops across the country.

Cyber commune

A new cyber commune, www.dig-it.org has opened its portals to help managers who use IT to dig their insights. The site is dedicated to those who are interested in using business information to fuel their insights. This non-profit site is supported by Matrix Information Services Ltd, according to a release.
