HLL's sampling drive for Rexona deoHindustan Lever Limited has undertaken a mega drop-off project in New Delhi and Mumbai for Rexona deodorant. This project is being executed since May and will continue through June when the need to increase awareness and usage of deodorants increases manifold.
Over five lakh households have been targeted each in Mumbai and Delhi. Volunteers are going door to door dropping off the unique 5-gm Rexona sticks and a small information leaflet on usage and efficacy of deodorants. The project aims to bring Rexona within a convenient reach of the consumer and grow the market.
McVitie's launches BN Pocket biscuits
Following its Digestive biscuits launch, McVitie's, a United Biscuits Group company has now launched BN Pocket Biscuits in India. The biscuit, which claims the company is the best selling biscuit brand in France, is being sampled to over 5,000 children in each of the major metros. Priced at Rs 19, BN Pocket comes in two pocket packs and is available intwo flavours of chocolate and vanilla.

Trikaya Grey has bagged the `Best Continuing Campaign Award' for its client Mauritius Tourism at the `Big Bang Award 1999' organised by the Bangalore Advertising Club. In the `photography in print' category, the agency has won a gold for its client Birla 3M. The agency walked away with seven awards at the glitzy function.
