Goldstone to sell Forte's application adapters

Suman Guha Mozumder
New York, June 9: Goldstone Softech, a leading systems integration firm belonging to the Goldstone Group of India, has announced a strategic partnership with Forte Software Inc to rapidly extend the latter's package of application adapters in India.

Goldstone Softech, which specialises in the development of innovative distributed applications, will base its Forte adapter factory in Hyderabad, where it has trained 30 developers in Forte (R) products, including Forte Conductor (TM).

Goldstone plans to use the XML-based adapters and its Forte expertise in conjunction with its EAI-oriented consulting projects. The development team has started working with Forte on an adapter for Siebel applications and has committed to build three additional adapters over the next year.

``Forte has certain technologies which they want to bring to the market and we are trying to provide technological leadership to them, giving them the ability to do what they want to do,'' Goldstone Softech USA president Ravi Lai toldIANS.

``We have been making use of Forte in our systems integration projects and we see great new opportunities in the comprehensive architecture for EAI offered by Forte Fusion,'' he said.
