The company says this is the country's first lipstick with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 6 and Vitamin E-enriched moisturisers, making it ideal for the hot and dry Indian summer. Packaged in leaf green cases, the MoonDrops range is available in 8 shades. With a tagline ``MoonDrops lips never say dry'' the lipsticks cost Rs 195.
Monginis takes the cake
Monginis Foods Ltd claims to have become the national leader in cakes, having the largest food store chain in the country with over 200 franchise cake shops. The company's vision: to have 1,000 cake shops all over India in the next five years. Monginis is spreading through the franchising route nationally and has already established seven manufacturing units in Mumbai, Pune, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Nasik and Rajkot. Another four manufacturing units are coming up at Goa, Jaipur, Baroda and Ahmedabad, the company said.
Summer suits by Janak
Study ByJanak, the designer wear label for men, has launched its Pret-a-porter summer suit collection. The suits, claims the company, are classy as well as light. Made of high-twisted wrinkle free fabric, these are available in a range of colours: beige, khakis, grey and pastels. The collection is priced at Rs 7,000 to Rs 25,000.
Freya introduces sunscreen lotion
Torrel cosmetics has launched Freya tropical sunscreen lotion. According to the company, the product protects the skin from both UVA and UVB radiation, while other sunscreen products provide protection against UVB radiation only. Available in a non-greasy easy-to-absorb lotion, it is priced atRs 63 for an 80 ml pack.
