MRPL to pick 26% in Mangalore pipeline
The board of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) plans to pick up 26% stake in the equity of the Mangalore-Bangalore pipeline being commissioned by Petronet India in 2002.
Centre privately places Rs 5,000 cr with RBI
Centre has privately placed Rs 5,000 crore with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) completing 41% of its gross borrowing target for the fiscal 1999.
Direct tax collections dip 23.98% in May
Direct tax collections in May have gone down by 23.98% to Rs 833.69 crore from Rs 1096.67 crore in the same month last year.
