JM Personal Tax Saver appreciates 60 per cent 

 
June 4: The net asset value of Jardine Fleming Personal Tax saver '96, an equity linked savings scheme, has appreciated more than 60 per cent during the one year to March 31, 1999. According to a relaese from Jardine Fleming Asset Management Company, compared to its March 31, 1998 net asset value of Rs 14.60, on March 31, 1999 the fund's NAV was Rs 23.39. The fund primarily focuses on investments only in the actively traded scrips.

During the period under review, the net asset value of JM's Indian Bond Fund appreciated by 14 per cent to Rs 11.85 against its March 31, 1998 NAV of Rs 10.40. The India Bond Fund is an open end fund providing two options to the investors- growth and income. Under the income plan, the board has decided to pay a dividend of 5 per cent. Also there is a chance of review for an interim dividend, the release says.
