Hudco approves Rs 1,500-crore loan to AP
Hyderabad, June 2: Hudco has approved a Rs 1,500-crore loan assistance to Andhra Pradesh for the current financial year as part of integrated development of housing, urban development, rural sanitation, and tourism.This was disclosed by Hudco chairman and managing director V Suresh during his meeting with the state chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Wednesday. Suresh told the Chief Minister that Hudco has approved a Rs 400-crore loan for construction of about five lakh houses for the poor, including 65,000 houses in urban areas, and Rs 48 crore for construction of three lakh sanitation units.
