VVF Ltd, makers of DOY soaps, have started `Sachin for CRY' a charity programme for children, in association with CRY (Child Relief and You).VVF has made a limited edition of soaps in the shape of Sachin Tendulkar's face. Under the programme, for a limited period, from May 20 onwards, donors who contribute Rs 1000 to CRY to support a deprived child, will receive the soap icons as a memento.

Sachin will also figure in a special ad film to promote the CRY cause.

Delhi Ad Club elections

G K Dhawan, CMD, Mode Advertising, has been re-elected president of the Delhi Advertising Club. His entire panel won the club's recent elections: Narinder Sharma and Suresh Verma as vice-presidents, S C Tanwar & Kailash Arora as hony secy and jt secy respectively and Man Mohan Gupta as treasurer.The executive committee members (Ajay Gupta, Anoop Ghosh, P D Hindwan, Malcolm Mistry, Kailash Gupta and Vipin Kharbanda) were also returned with a majority.
