PUNE, May 17: The newly-launched Fiat Siena will become Euro-II compliant soon. ``All the Siena versions are Euro-I compliant while the petrol version already meets Euro-II norms, the diesel version will comply with Euro-II in a few months,'' said Fiat India Automobiles Limited (FIAL) director commercial Enrico Ferrero.Ferrero was confident that Siena sales would not be affected by the new norms for the automobile sector. Ferrero is looking at delivering 6,000 to 7,000 cars during this calendar year. Around 1,000 cars will be delivered in the first three months.
Ferrero was here at the Siena launch organised by FIAL's two dealers - Ashwamegh Motors and Jay-Vijay Motors recently. FIAL will be using its network of 57 dealers to sell the Siena. To serve the growing market, service points are being increased from 120 to 200. Nearly 50 dealers are upgrading their facilities to meet the Siena's requirements.
