NSE completes 232nd settlement

Mumbai, May 6: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has completed its 232nd settlement since inception today. Total turnover in securities and funds of the settlement stood at Rs 1108.63 crore and Rs 278.63 crore respectively. About 204.87 lakh shares were delivered in dematerialised mode with total value of rs 433.98 crore. Total value of shares delivered in compulsory demat scrips were Rs 340.32 crore. The payout has been completed and all shortages to the extent of 1.04 per cent have been successfully auctioned. Unrectified bad deliveries for the previous settlement to the extent of 0.17 per cent have also been auctioned.Copyright © 1999 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
