MUMBAI, Apr 30: The board of directors of Zee Telefilms Ltd (ZTL) has decided to merge the Mauritius-based Zee Multimedia Worldwide (ZMW) with itself.
The board on Friday authorised two of its directors to negotiate the acquisition of the shares of ZMW.The board, which also announced the unaudited financial results for the year ended March 31, 1999, said the company's net profit jumped by 41.1 per cent to Rs 61.7 crore, compared with Rs 43.7 crore last year.
