Select edible oils drop in mixed trading 

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA  
New Delhi, Apr 26: Mixed conditions prevailed on the oils and oilseeds market today as select edible oil prices dropped on lower producing region advices while industrial oils showed some strength in stockists' demand. The volume of business was satisfactory. Traders said increased arrivals of edible oil stocks mainly led to a drop in prices.

Groundnut mill delivery oil prices quoted lower at Rs 4120-4175 per quintal as against the last closing of Rs 4150-4200, while groundnut solvent refined prices dropped from Rs 700-775 to Rs 675-750 per tin.

Vanaspati ghee (15 kg tin) quoted lower at Rs 630-680 against the last level of Rs 635-700. However, coconut oil prices strengthened on higher Cochin advices and ended higher at Rs 1000-1030 per tin as compared to last level of Rs 950-1000.
