Tissot ropes in Azhar as brand ambassador

Swiss watch-maker Tissot, part of the 3.05 billion Swiss francs Swatch Group, has launched its watches in India. It also announced cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin as its first Indian brand ambassador. According to the company, Azharuddin will wear the Tissot Prs 2, a unique watch designed especially for sports watch lovers. Tissot watches will be available at leading watch retailers and jewellers in all major cities in India.

Bausch & Lomb offers free visioncare to sportspersons

Bausch & Lomb has launched `SportsVision '99' a comprehensive visioncare programme to provide complete visioncare solutions to sportspersons, in association with the Sports Authority of India. The services will be provided at SAI's camps in various parts of the country for events in preparation for the forthcoming Olympics and Asiad. The aim is to sensitise and educate sportspersons on the need for eyecare to enhance performance and also provide free eye tests and counselling.

FCB-Ulka bags Zurich India account

Zurich Asset Management Company India Ltd, the local arm of Zurich Financial Group, has awarded its advertising account to FCB- Ulka Advertising, India's fifth largest advertising agency. As part of its brand building exercise, the company will shortly launch a multi-media advertising campaign in the country.

Silk.e'pil's 60-day money back offer

Braun has launched a special summer offer - The Braun Silk.e'pil Challenge: The consumer can try out any model of Silk.e'pil epilators for a period of 60 days. If dissatisfied, the product can be returned and a full refund (less taxes) claimed. The offer is available in select cities from April 10-June 9. The Silk.epil range starts from Rs 1,795 onwards.
