Lalitha Srinivasan
MUMBAI, Mar 24: Ambience Advertising, a creative hot-shop in the ad-industry has bagged the coveted advertising account of Cinthol Soaps and Talcs, leading brands from the Godrej stable. The Rs 20-crore account now moves from Madison Advertising to Ambience.

The Rs 65-crore advertising agency has also bagged yet another plum account, Baskin Robbins worth around Rs 3 crore. Earlier, the account was handled by Mudra Advertising.

Says Nakul Chopra, senior vice-president, Ambience Advertising: ``At present, we are handling quite a few Godrej accounts namely, Godrej Hi-Care, GoodKnight mosquito mats and Godrej Washing Machines. We are now happy to bag this prestigious account.''

It was 12 years ago, that Ambience advertising agency was set up to offer highly creative solutions to its clients. Over the years, the agency has acquired the status of a creative hot-shop in the country. The agency's famous Thums Up commercial won numerous awards in the last few years. The agency has gained a host of new accountsin the last two years. Its new clientele includes: Marico Industries, Enkay Texofoods, Enjay Hotels and Pan-India Paryatan.

According to Chopra, the key to the agency's success lies in its creative products and dedicated servicing. ``If existing clients like Godrej give us additional accounts, you can well imagine the quality of our work,'' says Chopra.

As for the future plans for the acquired brands, Chopra says that the agency will take three months to study the market and other brands in the categories. ``And then we will chart out our new strategies,'' says Chopra.
