Bertolli Olive Oil launched in Indian market

Bertolli, the world leader in olive oil, has been launched in India. The Mumbai-based R R Oomerbhoy Pvt Ltd has acquired exclusive marketing and distribution rights for the brand. Of the three variants Bertolli manufactures, Classico, Extra Virgin and Extra Light, Classico is being launched first. Bertolli will be available in all major and mini metros in five size variants of 100 ml, 200 ml, 500 ml, 1 ltr and 3 ltr bottles in the price range Rs of 65 to Rs 900.

Rado institutes fellowship for NID students

Swiss watch company, Rado has instituted a fellowship, award and internship for students at the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad for the forthcoming academic year. A fellowship of Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the deserving fellow-student. Also, one student from the design education institute will get to work as an intern with the Rado design team in Switzerland for one month.

American peas in the frontline

Mumbai-basedKumkum Food Products has begun imports of American green peas and has launched them under the brand `Frontline'. The peas have been processed exclusively to enable consumers to get fresh peas. The product will be marketed at a retail price of Rs 7 per 200 gm pack and Rs 16 for 500 gm. Bulk packaging of 45.36 kg is also available. The company says it is a value for money product as on soaking the peas, the volume actually doubles. Kumkum Food Products has entered into an agreement with Maviga of USA, which will purchase green peas from co-operative agricultural producers in the US.

Sprite uncorked in Mumbai

Cola-Cola India has launched Sprite, the popular international soft drink and the fastest growing carbonated soft drink around the world, in Mumbai. The Mumbai launch comes close on the heels of its successful launch in other parts of the country. Targeted at teenagers, Sprite is available in attractive 330 ml cans and the 1.5 litre PET bottles, priced at Rs 18 and Rs 40.

Amway introducescar wash

Amway India Enterprises has launched Amway Car Wash concentrate for cars and two-wheelers. Available in 500 ml packs, the product can be used for cleaning all automotive surfaces and paints, from tyres and hubcaps to bumpers and rubber beadings. According to Amway, at a dilution of 5 ml in four litres of water, the Car Wash offers 100 car washes at a per-wash cost of Rs 2. The product is available through Amway distributors who are engaged in home delivery and personal demonstration.

Vista's Home Fashion Co-ordinates

Alps Industries Ltd has launched Vista's Home fashion Co-ordinates to dress up the bedroom. Through a work of art, the Vista Home Fashion Co-ordinates offers an enchanting range to create a new look for different seasons, moods and designs. The Vista bed co-ordination range helps explore the dramatic elements of complementary colours, patterns and textures.

These comprise basic bed sheets, bed covers, pillow and cushion covers, comforters, European shams, bed skirtsand rugs. To further accentuate the beauty of the interiors, Vista Home Fashion offers co-ordinated upholstery and curtain furnishings and also shower curtains and bath rugs.
