Our Bureau
CHENNAI, Mar 19: Kaashyap Radiant Systems Ltd, part of the Rs 100-crore Kaashyap group, has tied up with the US-based Component Management Group (CMG), a non-profit consortium, to set up a component academy, here. CMG is developing an architecture that would enable global technology transfer and reuse. The academy would be a high-end component development centre to develop CORBA (common object request broker architecture) professionals, according to Sanjay Bhardwaj, chief operating officer, Kaashyap Radiant Systems. It will offer courses at three levels and help professionals become a part of CMG technology task force, access all CMG produced specifications, technical documents, books, research projects and provide opportunity to develop critical domain specific solutions. CORBA, one of the most popular distributed object paradigm, is a middleware technology which provides a communication infrastructure. Copyright © 1999 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
