Complaints against UTII was holding 2740.595 units of US-64 scheme (account numbers/unit certificate numbers 400 R 06866, 400 P 19834, 400970200678119, 493 5 1147417, 400970200678368 and 49400090089500). The units were tendered for repurchase at UTI's Lucknow office on November 10, 1998 and were forwarded by them to their New Delhi office. However, despite my continuous follow-up actions with UTI's Lucknow and New Delhi offices, neither have I received the payment against the units nor has the UTI been giving any response to my letters of reminder. When I contacted the UTI office at New Delhi personally, I was advised by to contact their mailers and handlers who informed me that the cheque was sent to my address on December 26, 1998. However, despite my non-receipt of the cheque, they refused to lodge a complaint with the postal authorities.

I had invested Rs 15,000 in UTI's DIUP 93 scheme vide membership number 101941510089913. The scheme was due for maturity onSeptember 30, 1998. Four months have passed since it fell due for maturity but I am yet to get the redemption amount. Several reminders sent to the the company remain unanswered.

On October 4, 1998 I had lodged 1900 units of US-64 (certificate/ADU number 100970016003017) with UTI's Lotus Court (Mumbai) office for repurchase (inward number 91783). I was advised to collect the payment cheque on October 13, 1998. However, when contacted on the said date, the UTI office advised me to contact their Cuffe Parade office which informed me that my claim was still under process and no further reason for the delay was given. Thereafter I had visited the same office a number of times and have also sent a fax to the chairman, UTI but neither have I received any reply from UTI nor the amount that is due.

Non-receipt of shares sent for transfer
I had sent 2,000 shares of Rinki Petro Chemicals (certificate numbers 349709-728, distinctive numbers17682071-4070) for transfer on August 19, 1997. I had sent several letters of reminders to the company, the Sebi and the Bombay Stock Exchange. I am yet to get the shares back after due transfer.

Non-receipt of redemption amount
We had secured redeemable debentures (folio number 106348, amount Rs 10,000) of DCM Limited. The debentures matured for repayment on August 14,1998. However, despite several reminders to the company, Sebi, BSE and DSE, DCM Ltd has not paid the money back.

I had invested Rs 11,000 in the fixed deposits of Enari Finance Ltd (FDR number FNS/AHM/501632). The fixed deposits fell due for redemption on November 23, 1997. Despite several reminders to the company and to Sebi, the company has not paid back the money with the interest due on it.
