MTV Baal Baby Baal fun hair-styles contest

MTV and Procter & Gamble Home Products' shampoo brands Pantene and Head & Shoulders have launched a 45-day MTV Baal Baby Baal contest about fun hairstyles. Participants in the contest can aim for two first prizes: each first prize winner gets 2 tickets to Hollywood. Additionally, 28,000 Biker shades (goggles) can also be won. The entry forms will be available at 3,500 grocery stores and other retail outlets across the country. Each retail outlet will have a lucky draw at regular intervals and the winners will get Biker shades free.

The MTV Baal Baby Baal contest van will visit about 1,600 spots (colleges, popular restaurants, theatres, etc) in 24 towns across the country. Each van will be equipped with a video camera and promoters will ask questions based on the contest and declare spot winners.

Livoplus for liver disorders:

Ajanta Pharma Ltd has recently launched Livoplus, an innovation in the field of livercare. Livoplus is a herbalprotection for alcohol-induced liver damage. An OTC product, Livoplus is targeted at social drinkers who tend to suffer from liver disorders. The medicine also aims at normalising the ill-effects in persons who have given up drinking. The company says that the efficacy of Livoplus has been proved by clinical trials in patients consuming approximately one litre of alcohol daily for an average period of 10 years.

Irons by Tefal India:

Tefal India has launched `Dry Irons' in the Indian market. With its imported thermostat for automatic temperature setting, the range makes ironing easier, faster and safer. The range includes three models to suit different needs and budgets. The Ultragliss soleplate is priced at Rs 995; the Longlife non-stick soleplate is priced at 795, while the Quality polished aluminium soleplate is priced at Rs 695. Backed by a 12-month warranty, the product is available in over 100 cities.
