Benetton's Colours of the heart

Benetton has dedicated the Feb-March issue of its bi-monthly magazine `Colors' to the Heart. Dubbed a `Valentine Special', the magazine presents an array of associations with the heart in the shape of pictures and text. Recipes, gifts, religion, medicine, passion - every conceivable association with the organ is there, not always flattering or romantic. The tag line calls it `a magazine about the rest of the world' and it carries photographs of a cross-section of people. The pictures, in typical Oliviero Toscani style, are often provocative, like the one showing a woman who has just delivered a child. The issue also features some Indian images eg the hennaed palms of a bride, a practitioner of yoga and a picture of Hanuman.
