Planet Reebok sighted in Delhi: Reebok India has opened its first concept store in the Capital. Stores along similar lines were opened recently in Bangalore (Planet Reebok) and Mumbai (Vama). Called `Planet Reebok' the store will have on offer the entire range of sports and fitness footwear, including the new Pro range of cricket shoes, apparel and accessories. The opening of the store is a part of the company's endeavour to make world class sports and fitness gear accessible to aspiring sportsmen and fitness enthusiasts. The space age ambience of `Planet Reebok' is accentuated by the innovative display stands in the shape of transparent cubical structures, which adds to the futuristic theme of the store decor.World Marketing Congress from Feb 13: The 26th World Marketing Congress is being held in the Capital from Feb 13-16. Hosted by the Institute of Marketing and Management, the theme of the congress will be ``Marketing cooperation with the Commonwealth.'' Delegates from over 25 countries,besides senior executives, industrialists, senior government officials, diplomats, bankers, scholars and consultants will participate in the congress. Prominent speakers will include Dr P L Sanjeeva Reddy, Mr M P Bezbaruah, Dr A P Kulshreshtha, Mr Michael Ashfield, Chairman, India Research Bureau, UK and others.
Easy ironing aide from Modicare: Direct selling company Modicare has launched Speedy Iron, a product that aids wrinkle-free ironing, under its laundry care range of products. Speedy Iron's special silicone formula will help make ironing easy by removing tough creases quickly. The product can be used on all washable cottons and synthetics. Priced at Rs 135 and 250 for 250 and 500 ml bottles respectively, the product is available through Modicare's extensive consultants network.
Sunova Spirulina in blister packs: Spirulina, the protein, vitamin and mineral rich green superfood from Sunova is now available in blister packs of 10 capsules. Hailed as one of the greatest superfoods onearth, Spirulina is the richest known source of protein, with six times more than in eggs and twenty times more than in milk. Developed by Dabur Research Foundation, Sunova Spirulina is available in capsule and tablet form. With the introduction of the blister packs, priced at Rs 22, the product will now be available at chemist shops and departmental stores across the country.
FedEx to sponsor Ferrari-Marlboro racing team: FedEx, as part of its global branding strategy, has announced sponsoring of the Ferrari-Marlboro Formula One racing team. The FedEx logo will be prominantly placed on the front and side of both racing cars and on the overalls of the drivers. Using the sponsorship as a regional communications platform, FedEx plans to develop a variety of marketing programmes and initiatives directed at their key audiences. The new Ferrari racing car bearing thelogo was unveiled at the Ferrari factory in Italy recently.
