Videsh Sanchar Nigam plans to offer global-roaming Net facility
Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) is set to provide global roaming Internet facility across 200 international cities at rates ranging from $2 to $3 per hour.

Britannia to double rural penetration
Britannia Industries Ltd, the Rs 824-crore bakery products major, plans to beef up its distribution network with a major thrust on the rural market. The company, which is currently perceived to have an urban bias with the urban market contributing almost 70% to the sales, plans to tap the rural market in a major way.

Williamson Magor picks up 25% in JP Morgan Securities
The BM Khaitan-controlled Williamson Magor group has picked up 25% equity in JP Morgan Securities India Pvt Ltd, the primary dealer arm of the global investment bank.
