World Gold Council helps city jewellers launch maiden festival
The Geneva-headquartered World Gold Council (WGC) has contributed around Rs 65 lakh towards launching the first Gold Festival that begins all over Mumbai from January 15. The festival ends on February 27.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd has introduced "My First Colgate", a premium brush targeted at children upto the age of four, in competition with Hindustan Lever's Pepsodent Junior.
DoT's Internet backbone to hum in June
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will launch the first phase of the Rs 75-crore National Internet Backbone (NIB) to provide Internet access in 542 cities in June this year.
