Telecom panel eggs Centre to scrap floor on foreign equity
The Industry Group of Telecom, a parallel industry body, has suggested that the government scrap the mandatory requirement of a minimum 10% equity subscription by a foreign partner in basic, cellular, paging and V-Sat services.

The Union textile ministry has appointed Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) and Small Industries Development Bank of India (Sidbi) as nodal disbursal agencies for the proposed Rs 25,000-crore technology-upgradation fund for the textile industry.
