New Delhi, Dec 16: Reliance Industries has been voted as one of the best managed companies by institutional investors in Asiamoney's worldwide poll, 1998. This is the second year running that Reliance has got this distinction.Fund managers from 150 institutional investment houses, representing over $200 billion of funds under management, were polled by the magazine for the 1998 rankings.
The criteria used for judging the companies were best strategy and management, financial accounts, treatment of minorities and best investor relations. Reliance was chosen as one of the best companies in both "best strategy and management" as well as "best investor relations".
