Fax software for the home PC, an electronic address book, a screen-saver featuring a dancing baby -- and all of these programmes for free? These days, the typical computer user doesn't need cash, just an internet connection to get free software.
IOB spruces up with any-branch banking
The Indian Overseas Bank launched Any Branch Banking (ABB) in Mumbai last week. IOB plans to launch the ABB service in all its branches in Chennai and Calcutta, covering a total of 170 branches by the end of this year.
