TetraPak India set to break even by 2002: TetraPak India is likely to break even in the next three years with the launch of a ready-to-eat dal. The launch will promote the use of tetra pak in packaging eatables, a senior company official said. "With a number of big players in the packaged edible-oil segment all set to join hands with us and marketing of ready-to-eat dal formulation, we are hopeful of turning black in the next three years," general manager Amol Pandherkar said.Roadshow of satellite-phones service: Iridium will launch a nation-wide roadshow for its satellite-phone service next week before launching its commercial services by early next year. The roadshow, with live demonstration of its handset, will cover all major cities of the country to familiarise mobile-users on the advantages of the service. "Campaigning will begin probably in a week and we expect to commercialise the service in January or February," managing director Jaydev Raja said.
Bhel recommissions Srisailamhydro electric project: Bharat Heavy Electricals has re-commissioned the Srisailam hydro-electric project in Andhra Pradesh. The 110mw project, which was submerged by floods last October, has been re-commissioned in a record 44 days, against the committed schedule of 60 days.
