Mumbai, Oct 31: Castrol has posted a 7.7 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 126.72 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal, up from Rs 117.63 crore in the first nine months of last year. Net sales have also increased, albeit at a slower rate of 6 per cent to Rs 764.54 crore for the nine-month period. This is compared to net sales of Rs 721.6 crore for the corresponding period last year.
