DoT offers incentive to ITI staff to push VRS
The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) has thrown in a sweetener for ITI Ltd employees opting for voluntary retirement. DoT has announced the availability of STD/ISD/PCO facilities on `out-of-turn basis' to the voluntary retirees of ITI.
ONGC, OIL neck-and-neck for Numaligarh Refineries partnership
IBP Company CMD S N Mathur has confirmed reports that the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) or Oil India (OIL) may emerge as the fourth partner in Numaligarh Refineries (NRL), jointly promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation and IBP. IBP, a stand-alone oil marketing company, has a 19% stake in the refinery in the northeast.
Pennzoil to tap consumer products, retail trade
Pennzoil India, the wholly-owned subsidiary of US multinational Pennzoil Products Company, has identified the consumer products segment and the retail trade as its core growth areas. The company expects to triple its turnover over the next five years.
