New Delhi, Oct 06: Dhanuka Pesticides has announced a dividend of Rs 2 pere share for the year 1997-98. Net profits rose over 110 per cent from Rs 96.82 lakh in 1996-97 to Rs 2.05 crore in 1997-98. Earning per share shot up to over Rs 10 on a share of Rs 10.Dhanuka Pesticides Ltd has tied-up with another Japanese major Hokko Chemical Industry for producing a potent fungicide, Kasugamycin. The company had successfully launched Caldan 4G and 50 SP in 1997-98 with technical tie-up with Messers Takeda Chemical Industries Ltd of Japan.
During May 1998, the company had launched Nukil-10% EC with technical tie-up with Messers Mitsui Chemicals Inc. The company also launched another new type of antibiotic insecticide, Validamycin 3% in collaboration with Takeda Chemical Industries, Japan during the current year.
