Esso sees delivery of gas to Victoria: Esso Australia said on Sunday it expected to be able to start delivering gas again to the Australian state of Victoria today. "Tests will continue throughout the day with the expectation that small quantitites of gas will be delivered today to the VENCorp distribution system," the company said in a statement.VENCorp is responsible for deciding which industrial customers will receive the first supplies of gas to the city.Five foreign firms to vie for Korea Telecom stake: Five foreign telecommunication operators are expected to bid for a 15 per cent stake in state-run Korea Telecom, a South Korean newspaper said on Sunday. The Chosun Ilbo quoted government officials as saying the five candidates were Telecom Italia, France Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Bell Atlantic Corp and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. "The five have submitted letters of intent to invest (inKorea Telecom)," the daily quoted an official at the Planning and Budget Commission.
