BANGALORE, OCT 2: Mont Blanc International will open its exclusive retail boutique in Chennai next year. The company has already launched showrooms in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Inaugurating its Bangalore outlet on Friday, Mont Blanc International executive vice president (marketing and sales) Wolff Heinrichsdorff said, "The company will unveil hand-crafted leather accessories including wallets, notebooks, personal organisers, attache cases and garment bags through the retail showrooms in the country."

The new Montblanc jewellery collection will also be on offer, including an exquisite selection of cufflinks, tie bars and key rings. The company will also offer a range of Meistertuck wrist watches and eyewear in the country.

According to Heinrichsdorff, India will be the strongest market in the world in the near future for the company's marketing operations. "Montblanc has always produced writing instruments of the highest order and are using the same high standards for the production of their lifestyleproducts," he added.

Speaking to reporters he said, "At present, the company's revenue from the sale of writing instruments is around 70 per cent of the total income, while the balance is from other diversified products."

"The diversified products division has been growing worldwide. Within the next few years, 50 per cent of Mont Blanc International's total revenue will come from the diversified products division. The company will add new products to the existing range shortly," Heinrichsdorff added.
