Savita Chemicals recently launched Hero Honda 4-T Plus original 4-stroke engine oil, specially developed for Hero Honda motorcycles. Earlier, the company had introduced special engine oils for Honda city cars, Tata Hitachi and Kinetic Honda vehicles. In technical collaboration with Idemitsu Kosan Company, Japan, Savita chemicals now produces 4-T Plus engine oil at its Turbhe plant. The company claims that Hero Honda 4-T Plus will enhance the engine performance and increase its life. Savita Chemicals also has plans to develop high quality lubricants for various types of vehicles in the country.

Animal Planet to be launched on October 3:

Discovery Communications India will launch Animal Planet as a one-hour block on Doordarshan's metro channel DD II. Beginning October 3, Animal Planet will be aired every Saturday at 16.30 hours. Amazing Animals and Zoo Life, two premiere half-hour series, will be aired. Animal Planet, a new family-oriented block,will explore the inter-relationships among animals, humans and the environment with high-quality programming from world-renowned producers BBC and Discovery Communications, parent company of Discovery Channel.

Prince introduces new furniture range:

Prince Plastoware has recently launched Prince Accord, a new range of plastic moulded furniture in Mumbai. As part of its growth strategy, the company has launched adult and baby chairs. In the adult chair category, Prince has introduced two models, namely Prince Accord Viceroy and Prince Accord Legend. Prince's baby chair range includes Accord Teddy and Accord Relaxo. Prince Plastoware has recently diversified and opened up a new strategic business unit for moulded furniture.
