HYDERABAD, Sept 26: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a two week long tour of United States, on Friday invited participation of American communications giant Motorola Corporation in development of communication network in rural areas of the state.Speaking at a special function organised by Motorola at Chicago, Naidu said his government was striving hard to promote information technology in a big way and take the administration closer to people. The chief minister also invited Motorola's representative to the state to consider setting up of a training Centre here, a release from chief minister's office said.
The Motorola representative Terby Heng said his company would conduct a one-day information exchange workshop in the first week of October at Hyderabad, the release added. Addressing a workshop organised by food processing industry in Chicago, Naidu said there was tremendous potential for foregin investment in the state's agro industries.
