Neyveli dues from SEBs' mount

New Delhi: The total outstandings of Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) from the various state electricity boards (SEBs) stood at Rs 1,030.33 crore on account of sale of power as on July 30 1998. The corporation generated 1170.15 million units of electricity during July 1998 which was 24.35 per cent more than the target of 941 million units, but its outstandings from sebs as on July 30 1998 stood at a staggering Rs 1030.33 crore, an official release said here on Tuesday.Power export during the month was 966 million units against the target of 767 million units, a 25.98 per cent increase for the month, the release said.
